The breath of a lover’s kiss
So spreads like candles in a pond

A grasp – a fire that is gripped firmly
In its place the smoke of rolling clouds

Tightening around the thunder
Mad, lightly, dazzling

Just the tickling on the ears
Like details of Venus and Aphrodite into a sea of diamond spray

Love in an instant before forever
So as friends we step

In the sun that carries us to nightingales
We caress the hours that pour of clouds and stars

So swiftly in slumber into the palms of extinction
